Protege Executives

Chris Gruler- Co-Owner
Chris Gruler was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds with the 3rd overall pick in the 2002 draft out of Liberty High School in Brentwood, California. He played professionally for five years but after three reconstructive shoulder surgeries Chris was released from his contract in 2006. During his baseball career he began to get involved in real estate in Scottsdale, Arizona. After four years in the Real Estate game he turned his attention to his unique experience from the game and developed Protege, LLC. Using his contacts he has developed over the years he knew he wanted to stay close to the game without the feeling of being too involved. With his cstory being a unique one, he wants to share it with as many athletes and parents as possible.

Chris is in the process of writing his tell all book about his past experience in the crazy game of baseball which should be completed in late January. He lives in Scottsdale, Arizona. Close by are his parents Steve and Irene. His younger sister Melissa is currently attending Cosmetology School.
